Schools Tour

Yothu Yindi spread a messsage of respecting culture through Northern Territory Schools. Mandawuy Yunupingu, Gapanbulu Yunupingu, Nicky Yunupingu and Stuart Kellaway are travelling across the Northern Territory using song, storytelling and open discussion to inspire and encourage some of Australia's most vulnerable young people to attend school and stay healthy. The tour started in February in the Top End of Australia and will continue until about mid year through the Northern Territory. The Yothu Yindi NT Schools Tour is spupprted by the Commonwealth Department of Family and Community Services under the Stronger Families and Communities Strategy.

Yothu Yindi performed at the 14th Annual East Coast International Blues & Roots Music Festival, Australia's largest International Festival of Blues & Roots Music in beautiful Byron Bay.
